Elegant Catrinas made using the artisanal technique of papier-mâché.
These beautiful pieces feature shimmering silver or gray tones and feature heads that represent skulls, an iconic element of the Catrinas. They wear elaborate hats or headdresses with wide, pleated brims, giving them an air of distinction and drama. The hats are the same bright color as each Catrina's dress.
They wear long, voluminous dresses that fall in folds, giving the impression of movement and fluidity. The top of the dress seems to fit at the waist, then elegantly expands toward the base.
They have an upright and sophisticated posture, with their arms elegantly bent, as if holding the brim of their hats or part of their clothing, which adds dynamism to the composition.
