Replica of the so-called Columnaria coin, internationally recognized as "the most beautiful ever minted," for having dominated international trade during the 17th and 18th centuries. It is also known as the "Pilar Dollar" or "Spanish Dollar."
On the obverse, in the upper field parallel to the frame, is the legend: "Ultraque Unum," a Latin word that alludes to the union of the two worlds, America and the Old World. In the center, two worlds intertwined by a crown, and above the ocean, the Pillars of Hercules on either side. In the lower field, a semicircle parallel to the frame, the mint mark and the year of minting.
On the reverse, in the field parallel to the frame, the legend Philip V DG Hispan et Ind Rex. In the center, the coat of arms of King Philip V.
