Each doll is unique and handcrafted entirely by Otomi artisans. This means they are special pieces, as no two Lele dolls are exactly alike. In 2018, the Lele doll was declared a Cultural Heritage of Querétaro, recognizing its importance.

Simple yet colorful materials are used in its creation: cotton fabric, yarn, embroidery threads, and ribbons. Beyond its beauty, the Lele doll represents Mexico's cultural richness and the perseverance of indigenous traditions that reflect the joy and worldview of the Otomi communities.
