.999 Silver Medal minted by the Mexican Mint in Matte gloss.
The obverse bears the legend "Piedra de los Soles" (Stone of the Suns). In the center, a faithful reproduction of the Aztec Calendar or Stone of the Suns, and in the lower field, the legend "México - Tenochtitlan 1478"
The reverse shows a flywheel press with the years 1535-1993, one of the earliest minting machines, whose image was part of the design of the well-known troy ounce.
This beautiful medal weighs 31.1 grams and is 42 mm in diameter.
